Hyuk Saju

🌊 Hyuk's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Hyuk's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 辛巳From age 7 (2006) the 辛巳 pillar takes over — Metal above, Fogo below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 壬午From age 17 (2016) the 壬午 pillar takes over — Água above, Fogo below. Água and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
3. 癸未From age 27 (2026) the 癸未 pillar takes over — Água above, Terra below. Água and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
4. 甲申From age 37 (2036) the 甲申 pillar takes over — Madeira above, Metal below. It doubles his own Madeira, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
5. 乙酉From age 47 (2046) the 乙酉 pillar takes over — Madeira above, Metal below. It doubles his own Madeira, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
6. 丙戌From age 57 (2056) the 丙戌 pillar takes over — Fogo above, Terra below. Fogo and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 丁亥From age 67 (2066) the 丁亥 pillar takes over — Fogo above, Água below. Fogo and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 戊子From age 77 (2076) the 戊子 pillar takes over — Terra above, Água below. Terra pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
