🌊 Inseong's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Inseong's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 戊午From age 3 (1995) the 戊午 pillar takes over — Tanah above, Api below. Tanah pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 丁巳From age 13 (2005) the 丁巳 pillar takes over — Api above, Api below. Api and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
3. 丙辰From age 23 (2015) the 丙辰 pillar takes over — Api above, Tanah below. Api and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
4. 乙卯From age 33 (2025) the 乙卯 pillar takes over — Kayu above, Kayu below. It doubles his own Kayu, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse. — now
5. 甲寅From age 43 (2035) the 甲寅 pillar takes over — Kayu above, Kayu below. It doubles his own Kayu, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
6. 癸丑From age 53 (2045) the 癸丑 pillar takes over — Air above, Tanah below. Air and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 壬子From age 63 (2055) the 壬子 pillar takes over — Air above, Air below. Air and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 辛亥From age 73 (2065) the 辛亥 pillar takes over — Logam above, Air below. Logam pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
