Solar Saju

🌊 Solar's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Solar's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 辛卯From age 5 (1995) the 辛卯 pillar takes over — Logam above, Kayu below. Logam and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 壬辰From age 15 (2005) the 壬辰 pillar takes over — Air above, Tanah below. It doubles his own Air, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
3. 癸巳From age 25 (2015) the 癸巳 pillar takes over — Air above, Api below. It doubles his own Air, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
4. 甲午From age 35 (2025) the 甲午 pillar takes over — Kayu above, Api below. Kayu and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
5. 乙未From age 45 (2035) the 乙未 pillar takes over — Kayu above, Tanah below. Kayu and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 丙申From age 55 (2045) the 丙申 pillar takes over — Api above, Logam below. Api pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 丁酉From age 65 (2055) the 丁酉 pillar takes over — Api above, Logam below. Api pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 戊戌From age 75 (2065) the 戊戌 pillar takes over — Tanah above, Tanah below. Tanah pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
