🌊 Eric's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Eric's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 己丑From age 6 (2005) the 己丑 pillar takes over — Tierra above, Tierra below. Tierra pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 庚寅From age 16 (2015) the 庚寅 pillar takes over — Metal above, Madera below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 辛卯From age 26 (2025) the 辛卯 pillar takes over — Metal above, Madera below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
4. 壬辰From age 36 (2035) the 壬辰 pillar takes over — Agua above, Tierra below. Agua and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 癸巳From age 46 (2045) the 癸巳 pillar takes over — Agua above, Fuego below. Agua and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 甲午From age 56 (2055) the 甲午 pillar takes over — Madera above, Fuego below. It doubles his own Madera, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
7. 乙未From age 66 (2065) the 乙未 pillar takes over — Madera above, Tierra below. It doubles his own Madera, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
8. 丙申From age 76 (2075) the 丙申 pillar takes over — Fuego above, Metal below. Fuego and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
