Asa Saju

🌊 Asa's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Asa's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 辛卯From age 5 (2010) the 辛卯 pillar takes over — Metal above, Madera below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 庚寅From age 15 (2020) the 庚寅 pillar takes over — Metal above, Madera below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
3. 己丑From age 25 (2030) the 己丑 pillar takes over — Tierra above, Tierra below. Tierra and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
4. 戊子From age 35 (2040) the 戊子 pillar takes over — Tierra above, Agua below. Tierra and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 丁亥From age 45 (2050) the 丁亥 pillar takes over — Fuego above, Agua below. It doubles his own Fuego, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
6. 丙戌From age 55 (2060) the 丙戌 pillar takes over — Fuego above, Tierra below. It doubles his own Fuego, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
7. 乙酉From age 65 (2070) the 乙酉 pillar takes over — Madera above, Metal below. Madera and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 甲申From age 75 (2080) the 甲申 pillar takes over — Madera above, Metal below. Madera and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
