🌊 Gahyeon's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Gahyeon's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 甲子From age 10 (2008) the 甲子 pillar takes over — Madera above, Agua below. Madera and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 癸亥From age 20 (2018) the 癸亥 pillar takes over — Agua above, Agua below. Agua pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
3. 壬戌From age 30 (2028) the 壬戌 pillar takes over — Agua above, Tierra below. Agua pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
4. 辛酉From age 40 (2038) the 辛酉 pillar takes over — Metal above, Metal below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 庚申From age 50 (2048) the 庚申 pillar takes over — Metal above, Metal below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 己未From age 60 (2058) the 己未 pillar takes over — Tierra above, Tierra below. Tierra and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 戊午From age 70 (2068) the 戊午 pillar takes over — Tierra above, Fuego below. Tierra and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 丁巳From age 80 (2078) the 丁巳 pillar takes over — Fuego above, Fuego below. It doubles his own Fuego, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
