Gaon Saju

🌊 Gaon's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Gaon's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 庚子From age 3 (2004) the 庚子 pillar takes over — Metal above, Agua below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 己亥From age 13 (2014) the 己亥 pillar takes over — Tierra above, Agua below. Tierra pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 戊戌From age 23 (2024) the 戊戌 pillar takes over — Tierra above, Tierra below. Tierra pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
4. 丁酉From age 33 (2034) the 丁酉 pillar takes over — Fuego above, Metal below. Fuego pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 丙申From age 43 (2044) the 丙申 pillar takes over — Fuego above, Metal below. Fuego pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 乙未From age 53 (2054) the 乙未 pillar takes over — Madera above, Tierra below. Madera and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 甲午From age 63 (2064) the 甲午 pillar takes over — Madera above, Fuego below. Madera and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 癸巳From age 73 (2074) the 癸巳 pillar takes over — Agua above, Fuego below. It doubles his own Agua, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
