🌊 Sowon's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Sowon's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 戊子From age 2 (1996) the 戊子 pillar takes over — Tierra above, Agua below. Tierra pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 己丑From age 12 (2006) the 己丑 pillar takes over — Tierra above, Tierra below. Tierra pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 庚寅From age 22 (2016) the 庚寅 pillar takes over — Metal above, Madera below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
4. 辛卯From age 32 (2026) the 辛卯 pillar takes over — Metal above, Madera below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
5. 壬辰From age 42 (2036) the 壬辰 pillar takes over — Agua above, Tierra below. It doubles his own Agua, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
6. 癸巳From age 52 (2046) the 癸巳 pillar takes over — Agua above, Fuego below. It doubles his own Agua, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
7. 甲午From age 62 (2056) the 甲午 pillar takes over — Madera above, Fuego below. Madera and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 乙未From age 72 (2066) the 乙未 pillar takes over — Madera above, Tierra below. Madera and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
