Martin's Saju

🌊 Martin's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Martin's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 丙辰From age 6 (2013) the 丙辰 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 丁巳From age 16 (2023) the 丁巳 pillar takes over — Fire above, Fire below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
3. 戊午From age 26 (2033) the 戊午 pillar takes over — Earth above, Fire below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
4. 己未From age 36 (2043) the 己未 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
5. 庚申From age 46 (2053) the 庚申 pillar takes over — Metal above, Metal below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 辛酉From age 56 (2063) the 辛酉 pillar takes over — Metal above, Metal below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 壬戌From age 66 (2073) the 壬戌 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 癸亥From age 76 (2083) the 癸亥 pillar takes over — Water above, Water below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
