Paul Kim's Saju

🌊 Paul Kim's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Paul Kim's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 乙卯From age 8 (1995) the 乙卯 pillar takes over — Wood above, Wood below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 丙辰From age 18 (2005) the 丙辰 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. It doubles his own Fire, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
3. 丁巳From age 28 (2015) the 丁巳 pillar takes over — Fire above, Fire below. It doubles his own Fire, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
4. 戊午From age 38 (2025) the 戊午 pillar takes over — Earth above, Fire below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
5. 己未From age 48 (2035) the 己未 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 庚申From age 58 (2045) the 庚申 pillar takes over — Metal above, Metal below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 辛酉From age 68 (2055) the 辛酉 pillar takes over — Metal above, Metal below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 壬戌From age 78 (2065) the 壬戌 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
