Dayoung's Saju

🌊 Dayoung's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Dayoung's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 庚午From age 9 (2007) the 庚午 pillar takes over — Metal above, Fire below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 辛未From age 19 (2017) the 辛未 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
3. 壬申From age 29 (2027) the 壬申 pillar takes over — Water above, Metal below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
4. 癸酉From age 39 (2037) the 癸酉 pillar takes over — Water above, Metal below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 甲戌From age 49 (2047) the 甲戌 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 乙亥From age 59 (2057) the 乙亥 pillar takes over — Wood above, Water below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 丙子From age 69 (2067) the 丙子 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. It doubles his own Fire, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
8. 丁丑From age 79 (2077) the 丁丑 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. It doubles his own Fire, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
