Goeun's Saju

🌊 Goeun's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Goeun's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 癸酉From age 3 (2001) the 癸酉 pillar takes over — Water above, Metal below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 甲戌From age 13 (2011) the 甲戌 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 乙亥From age 23 (2021) the 乙亥 pillar takes over — Wood above, Water below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
4. 丙子From age 33 (2031) the 丙子 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 丁丑From age 43 (2041) the 丁丑 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 戊寅From age 53 (2051) the 戊寅 pillar takes over — Earth above, Wood below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
7. 己卯From age 63 (2061) the 己卯 pillar takes over — Earth above, Wood below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
8. 庚辰From age 73 (2071) the 庚辰 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
