Hongjoong's Saju

🌊 Hongjoong's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Hongjoong's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 癸亥From age 1 (1998) the 癸亥 pillar takes over — Water above, Water below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 甲子From age 11 (2008) the 甲子 pillar takes over — Wood above, Water below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 乙丑From age 21 (2018) the 乙丑 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
4. 丙寅From age 31 (2028) the 丙寅 pillar takes over — Fire above, Wood below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 丁卯From age 41 (2038) the 丁卯 pillar takes over — Fire above, Wood below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 戊辰From age 51 (2048) the 戊辰 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
7. 己巳From age 61 (2058) the 己巳 pillar takes over — Earth above, Fire below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
8. 庚午From age 71 (2068) the 庚午 pillar takes over — Metal above, Fire below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
