Dahyun's Saju

🌊 Dahyun's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Dahyun's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 丙辰From age 8 (2005) the 丙辰 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 乙卯From age 18 (2015) the 乙卯 pillar takes over — Wood above, Wood below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
3. 甲寅From age 28 (2025) the 甲寅 pillar takes over — Wood above, Wood below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse. — now
4. 癸丑From age 38 (2035) the 癸丑 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 壬子From age 48 (2045) the 壬子 pillar takes over — Water above, Water below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 辛亥From age 58 (2055) the 辛亥 pillar takes over — Metal above, Water below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 庚戌From age 68 (2065) the 庚戌 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 己酉From age 78 (2075) the 己酉 pillar takes over — Earth above, Metal below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
