Joshua's Saju

🌊 Joshua's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Joshua's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 丁亥From age 9 (2003) the 丁亥 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 丙戌From age 19 (2013) the 丙戌 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
3. 乙酉From age 29 (2023) the 乙酉 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse. — now
4. 甲申From age 39 (2033) the 甲申 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
5. 癸未From age 49 (2043) the 癸未 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 壬午From age 59 (2053) the 壬午 pillar takes over — Water above, Fire below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 辛巳From age 69 (2063) the 辛巳 pillar takes over — Metal above, Fire below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 庚辰From age 79 (2073) the 庚辰 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
