U-Kwon's Saju

🌊 U-Kwon's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle U-Kwon's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 乙巳From age 9 (2000) the 乙巳 pillar takes over — Wood above, Fire below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
2. 丙午From age 19 (2010) the 丙午 pillar takes over — Fire above, Fire below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
3. 丁未From age 29 (2020) the 丁未 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
4. 戊申From age 39 (2030) the 戊申 pillar takes over — Earth above, Metal below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 己酉From age 49 (2040) the 己酉 pillar takes over — Earth above, Metal below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 庚戌From age 59 (2050) the 庚戌 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 辛亥From age 69 (2060) the 辛亥 pillar takes over — Metal above, Water below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 壬子From age 79 (2070) the 壬子 pillar takes over — Water above, Water below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
