Onhyuk's Saju

🌊 Onhyuk's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Onhyuk's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 己巳From age 10 (2013) the 己巳 pillar takes over — Earth above, Fire below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 庚午From age 20 (2023) the 庚午 pillar takes over — Metal above, Fire below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
3. 辛未From age 30 (2033) the 辛未 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
4. 壬申From age 40 (2043) the 壬申 pillar takes over — Water above, Metal below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 癸酉From age 50 (2053) the 癸酉 pillar takes over — Water above, Metal below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 甲戌From age 60 (2063) the 甲戌 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
7. 乙亥From age 70 (2073) the 乙亥 pillar takes over — Wood above, Water below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
8. 丙子From age 80 (2083) the 丙子 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
