Soyou's Saju

🌊 Soyou's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Soyou's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 辛丑From age 3 (1994) the 辛丑 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 庚子From age 13 (2004) the 庚子 pillar takes over — Metal above, Water below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
3. 己亥From age 23 (2014) the 己亥 pillar takes over — Earth above, Water below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
4. 戊戌From age 33 (2024) the 戊戌 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse. — now
5. 丁酉From age 43 (2034) the 丁酉 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 丙申From age 53 (2044) the 丙申 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 乙未From age 63 (2054) the 乙未 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 甲午From age 73 (2064) the 甲午 pillar takes over — Wood above, Fire below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
