Jay's Saju

🌊 Jay's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Jay's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 乙巳From age 6 (2007) the 乙巳 pillar takes over — Wood above, Fire below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 丙午From age 16 (2017) the 丙午 pillar takes over — Fire above, Fire below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
3. 丁未From age 26 (2027) the 丁未 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
4. 戊申From age 36 (2037) the 戊申 pillar takes over — Earth above, Metal below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
5. 己酉From age 46 (2047) the 己酉 pillar takes over — Earth above, Metal below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
6. 庚戌From age 56 (2057) the 庚戌 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 辛亥From age 66 (2067) the 辛亥 pillar takes over — Metal above, Water below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 壬子From age 76 (2077) the 壬子 pillar takes over — Water above, Water below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
