Taehyun's Saju

🌊 Taehyun's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Taehyun's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 癸卯From age 10 (2011) the 癸卯 pillar takes over — Water above, Wood below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 甲辰From age 20 (2021) the 甲辰 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse. — now
3. 乙巳From age 30 (2031) the 乙巳 pillar takes over — Wood above, Fire below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
4. 丙午From age 40 (2041) the 丙午 pillar takes over — Fire above, Fire below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 丁未From age 50 (2051) the 丁未 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 戊申From age 60 (2061) the 戊申 pillar takes over — Earth above, Metal below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 己酉From age 70 (2071) the 己酉 pillar takes over — Earth above, Metal below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 庚戌From age 80 (2081) the 庚戌 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
