Yeojin's Saju

🌊 Yeojin's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Yeojin's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 庚戌From age 3 (2004) the 庚戌 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 己酉From age 13 (2014) the 己酉 pillar takes over — Earth above, Metal below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 戊申From age 23 (2024) the 戊申 pillar takes over — Earth above, Metal below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
4. 丁未From age 33 (2034) the 丁未 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 丙午From age 43 (2044) the 丙午 pillar takes over — Fire above, Fire below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 乙巳From age 53 (2054) the 乙巳 pillar takes over — Wood above, Fire below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 甲辰From age 63 (2064) the 甲辰 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 癸卯From age 73 (2074) the 癸卯 pillar takes over — Water above, Wood below. It doubles his own Water, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
