Hoshi's Saju

🌊 Hoshi's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Hoshi's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 乙未From age 8 (2003) the 乙未 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 丙申From age 18 (2013) the 丙申 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 丁酉From age 28 (2023) the 丁酉 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
4. 戊戌From age 38 (2033) the 戊戌 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 己亥From age 48 (2043) the 己亥 pillar takes over — Earth above, Water below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 庚子From age 58 (2053) the 庚子 pillar takes over — Metal above, Water below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 辛丑From age 68 (2063) the 辛丑 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 壬寅From age 78 (2073) the 壬寅 pillar takes over — Water above, Wood below. It doubles his own Water, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
