Xinyu's Saju

🌊 Xinyu's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Xinyu's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 甲辰From age 7 (2008) the 甲辰 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 癸卯From age 17 (2018) the 癸卯 pillar takes over — Water above, Wood below. It doubles his own Water, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse. — now
3. 壬寅From age 27 (2028) the 壬寅 pillar takes over — Water above, Wood below. It doubles his own Water, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
4. 辛丑From age 37 (2038) the 辛丑 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 庚子From age 47 (2048) the 庚子 pillar takes over — Metal above, Water below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 己亥From age 57 (2058) the 己亥 pillar takes over — Earth above, Water below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 戊戌From age 67 (2068) the 戊戌 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 丁酉From age 77 (2078) the 丁酉 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
