Hendery's Saju

🌊 Hendery's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Hendery's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 壬申From age 8 (2006) the 壬申 pillar takes over — Water above, Metal below. It doubles his own Water, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
2. 辛未From age 18 (2016) the 辛未 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
3. 庚午From age 28 (2026) the 庚午 pillar takes over — Metal above, Fire below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
4. 己巳From age 38 (2036) the 己巳 pillar takes over — Earth above, Fire below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 戊辰From age 48 (2046) the 戊辰 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 丁卯From age 58 (2056) the 丁卯 pillar takes over — Fire above, Wood below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 丙寅From age 68 (2066) the 丙寅 pillar takes over — Fire above, Wood below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 乙丑From age 78 (2076) the 乙丑 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
