Doyoung's Saju

🌊 Doyoung's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Doyoung's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 壬戌From age 10 (2012) the 壬戌 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 辛酉From age 20 (2022) the 辛酉 pillar takes over — Metal above, Metal below. It doubles his own Metal, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse. — now
3. 庚申From age 30 (2032) the 庚申 pillar takes over — Metal above, Metal below. It doubles his own Metal, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
4. 己未From age 40 (2042) the 己未 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 戊午From age 50 (2052) the 戊午 pillar takes over — Earth above, Fire below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 丁巳From age 60 (2062) the 丁巳 pillar takes over — Fire above, Fire below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 丙辰From age 70 (2072) the 丙辰 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 乙卯From age 80 (2082) the 乙卯 pillar takes over — Wood above, Wood below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
