Chorong's Saju

🌊 Chorong's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Chorong's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 辛卯From age 2 (1992) the 辛卯 pillar takes over — Metal above, Wood below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 壬辰From age 12 (2002) the 壬辰 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. It doubles his own Water, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
3. 癸巳From age 22 (2012) the 癸巳 pillar takes over — Water above, Fire below. It doubles his own Water, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
4. 甲午From age 32 (2022) the 甲午 pillar takes over — Wood above, Fire below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
5. 乙未From age 42 (2032) the 乙未 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 丙申From age 52 (2042) the 丙申 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 丁酉From age 62 (2052) the 丁酉 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 戊戌From age 72 (2062) the 戊戌 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
