Minami's Saju

🌊 Minami's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Minami's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 戊戌From age 9 (2014) the 戊戌 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 丁酉From age 19 (2024) the 丁酉 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
3. 丙申From age 29 (2034) the 丙申 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
4. 乙未From age 39 (2044) the 乙未 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 甲午From age 49 (2054) the 甲午 pillar takes over — Wood above, Fire below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 癸巳From age 59 (2064) the 癸巳 pillar takes over — Water above, Fire below. It doubles his own Water, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
7. 壬辰From age 69 (2074) the 壬辰 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. It doubles his own Water, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
8. 辛卯From age 79 (2084) the 辛卯 pillar takes over — Metal above, Wood below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
