Haerin's Saju

🌊 Haerin's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Haerin's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 壬辰From age 4 (2009) the 壬辰 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 辛卯From age 14 (2019) the 辛卯 pillar takes over — Metal above, Wood below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
3. 庚寅From age 24 (2029) the 庚寅 pillar takes over — Metal above, Wood below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
4. 己丑From age 34 (2039) the 己丑 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 戊子From age 44 (2049) the 戊子 pillar takes over — Earth above, Water below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 丁亥From age 54 (2059) the 丁亥 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 丙戌From age 64 (2069) the 丙戌 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 乙酉From age 74 (2079) the 乙酉 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
