Gayoon's Saju

🌊 Gayoon's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Gayoon's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 庚辰From age 5 (1994) the 庚辰 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 己卯From age 15 (2004) the 己卯 pillar takes over — Earth above, Wood below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 戊寅From age 25 (2014) the 戊寅 pillar takes over — Earth above, Wood below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
4. 丁丑From age 35 (2024) the 丁丑 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
5. 丙子From age 45 (2034) the 丙子 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 乙亥From age 55 (2044) the 乙亥 pillar takes over — Wood above, Water below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 甲戌From age 65 (2054) the 甲戌 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 癸酉From age 75 (2064) the 癸酉 pillar takes over — Water above, Metal below. It doubles his own Water, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
