Xiumin's Saju

🌊 Xiumin's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Xiumin's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 庚辰From age 4 (1993) the 庚辰 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. It doubles his own Metal, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
2. 辛巳From age 14 (2003) the 辛巳 pillar takes over — Metal above, Fire below. It doubles his own Metal, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
3. 壬午From age 24 (2013) the 壬午 pillar takes over — Water above, Fire below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
4. 癸未From age 34 (2023) the 癸未 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
5. 甲申From age 44 (2033) the 甲申 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 乙酉From age 54 (2043) the 乙酉 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 丙戌From age 64 (2053) the 丙戌 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 丁亥From age 74 (2063) the 丁亥 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
