Junkyu's Saju

🌊 Junkyu's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Junkyu's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 丙戌From age 11 (2010) the 丙戌 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 丁亥From age 21 (2020) the 丁亥 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
3. 戊子From age 31 (2030) the 戊子 pillar takes over — Earth above, Water below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
4. 己丑From age 41 (2040) the 己丑 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 庚寅From age 51 (2050) the 庚寅 pillar takes over — Metal above, Wood below. It doubles his own Metal, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
6. 辛卯From age 61 (2060) the 辛卯 pillar takes over — Metal above, Wood below. It doubles his own Metal, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
7. 壬辰From age 71 (2070) the 壬辰 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 癸巳From age 81 (2080) the 癸巳 pillar takes over — Water above, Fire below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
