Hyunjin's Saju

🌊 Hyunjin's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Hyunjin's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 庚辰From age 6 (2005) the 庚辰 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 辛巳From age 16 (2015) the 辛巳 pillar takes over — Metal above, Fire below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 壬午From age 26 (2025) the 壬午 pillar takes over — Water above, Fire below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
4. 癸未From age 36 (2035) the 癸未 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 甲申From age 46 (2045) the 甲申 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 乙酉From age 56 (2055) the 乙酉 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 丙戌From age 66 (2065) the 丙戌 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. It doubles his own Fire, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
8. 丁亥From age 76 (2075) the 丁亥 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. It doubles his own Fire, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
