Jaehyun's Saju

🌊 Jaehyun's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Jaehyun's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 辛丑From age 4 (2000) the 辛丑 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 庚子From age 14 (2010) the 庚子 pillar takes over — Metal above, Water below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 己亥From age 24 (2020) the 己亥 pillar takes over — Earth above, Water below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
4. 戊戌From age 34 (2030) the 戊戌 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 丁酉From age 44 (2040) the 丁酉 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. It doubles his own Fire, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
6. 丙申From age 54 (2050) the 丙申 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. It doubles his own Fire, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
7. 乙未From age 64 (2060) the 乙未 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 甲午From age 74 (2070) the 甲午 pillar takes over — Wood above, Fire below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
