Mako's Saju

🌊 Mako's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Mako's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 壬辰From age 1 (2001) the 壬辰 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 癸巳From age 11 (2011) the 癸巳 pillar takes over — Water above, Fire below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 甲午From age 21 (2021) the 甲午 pillar takes over — Wood above, Fire below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
4. 乙未From age 31 (2031) the 乙未 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 丙申From age 41 (2041) the 丙申 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. It doubles his own Fire, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
6. 丁酉From age 51 (2051) the 丁酉 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. It doubles his own Fire, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
7. 戊戌From age 61 (2061) the 戊戌 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 己亥From age 71 (2071) the 己亥 pillar takes over — Earth above, Water below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
