Yunjin's Saju

🌊 Yunjin's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Yunjin's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 戊戌From age 1 (2001) the 戊戌 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 己亥From age 11 (2011) the 己亥 pillar takes over — Earth above, Water below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 庚子From age 21 (2021) the 庚子 pillar takes over — Metal above, Water below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
4. 辛丑From age 31 (2031) the 辛丑 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 壬寅From age 41 (2041) the 壬寅 pillar takes over — Water above, Wood below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 癸卯From age 51 (2051) the 癸卯 pillar takes over — Water above, Wood below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 甲辰From age 61 (2061) the 甲辰 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
8. 乙巳From age 71 (2071) the 乙巳 pillar takes over — Wood above, Fire below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
