Seolhyun's Saju

🌊 Seolhyun's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Seolhyun's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 乙亥From age 9 (2003) the 乙亥 pillar takes over — Wood above, Water below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
2. 甲戌From age 19 (2013) the 甲戌 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. It doubles his own Wood, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
3. 癸酉From age 29 (2023) the 癸酉 pillar takes over — Water above, Metal below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
4. 壬申From age 39 (2033) the 壬申 pillar takes over — Water above, Metal below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 辛未From age 49 (2043) the 辛未 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 庚午From age 59 (2053) the 庚午 pillar takes over — Metal above, Fire below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 己巳From age 69 (2063) the 己巳 pillar takes over — Earth above, Fire below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 戊辰From age 79 (2073) the 戊辰 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
