Bona's Saju

🌊 Bona's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Bona's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 乙酉From age 8 (2002) the 乙酉 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 丙戌From age 18 (2012) the 丙戌 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 丁亥From age 28 (2022) the 丁亥 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
4. 戊子From age 38 (2032) the 戊子 pillar takes over — Earth above, Water below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 己丑From age 48 (2042) the 己丑 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 庚寅From age 58 (2052) the 庚寅 pillar takes over — Metal above, Wood below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 辛卯From age 68 (2062) the 辛卯 pillar takes over — Metal above, Wood below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 壬辰From age 78 (2072) the 壬辰 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. It doubles his own Water, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
