Suhyeon's Saju

🌊 Suhyeon's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Suhyeon's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 戊寅From age 7 (2006) the 戊寅 pillar takes over — Earth above, Wood below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 己卯From age 17 (2016) the 己卯 pillar takes over — Earth above, Wood below. Earth pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 庚辰From age 27 (2026) the 庚辰 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
4. 辛巳From age 37 (2036) the 辛巳 pillar takes over — Metal above, Fire below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 壬午From age 47 (2046) the 壬午 pillar takes over — Water above, Fire below. It doubles his own Water, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
6. 癸未From age 57 (2056) the 癸未 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. It doubles his own Water, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
7. 甲申From age 67 (2066) the 甲申 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 乙酉From age 77 (2076) the 乙酉 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
