Suhyun's Saju

🌊 Suhyun's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Suhyun's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 己巳From age 1 (1999) the 己巳 pillar takes over — Earth above, Fire below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 庚午From age 11 (2009) the 庚午 pillar takes over — Metal above, Fire below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 辛未From age 21 (2019) the 辛未 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
4. 壬申From age 31 (2029) the 壬申 pillar takes over — Water above, Metal below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 癸酉From age 41 (2039) the 癸酉 pillar takes over — Water above, Metal below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 甲戌From age 51 (2049) the 甲戌 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 乙亥From age 61 (2059) the 乙亥 pillar takes over — Wood above, Water below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 丙子From age 71 (2069) the 丙子 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. It doubles his own Fire, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
