Hyelin's Saju

🌊 Hyelin's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Hyelin's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 辛酉From age 6 (1998) the 辛酉 pillar takes over — Metal above, Metal below. Metal pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 壬戌From age 16 (2008) the 壬戌 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
3. 癸亥From age 26 (2018) the 癸亥 pillar takes over — Water above, Water below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
4. 甲子From age 36 (2028) the 甲子 pillar takes over — Wood above, Water below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 乙丑From age 46 (2038) the 乙丑 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
6. 丙寅From age 56 (2048) the 丙寅 pillar takes over — Fire above, Wood below. It doubles his own Fire, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
7. 丁卯From age 66 (2058) the 丁卯 pillar takes over — Fire above, Wood below. It doubles his own Fire, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
8. 戊辰From age 76 (2068) the 戊辰 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
