Mackiah's Saju

🌊 Mackiah's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Mackiah's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 戊子From age 6 (2011) the 戊子 pillar takes over — Earth above, Water below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
2. 丁亥From age 16 (2021) the 丁亥 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over. — now
3. 丙戌From age 26 (2031) the 丙戌 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
4. 乙酉From age 36 (2041) the 乙酉 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 甲申From age 46 (2051) the 甲申 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 癸未From age 56 (2061) the 癸未 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 壬午From age 66 (2071) the 壬午 pillar takes over — Water above, Fire below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 辛巳From age 76 (2081) the 辛巳 pillar takes over — Metal above, Fire below. It doubles his own Metal, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
