Mark's Saju

🌊 Mark's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Mark's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 己未From age 10 (2002) the 己未 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
2. 戊午From age 20 (2012) the 戊午 pillar takes over — Earth above, Fire below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
3. 丁巳From age 30 (2022) the 丁巳 pillar takes over — Fire above, Fire below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
4. 丙辰From age 40 (2032) the 丙辰 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 乙卯From age 50 (2042) the 乙卯 pillar takes over — Wood above, Wood below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 甲寅From age 60 (2052) the 甲寅 pillar takes over — Wood above, Wood below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 癸丑From age 70 (2062) the 癸丑 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 壬子From age 80 (2072) the 壬子 pillar takes over — Water above, Water below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
