Hyunjae's Saju

🌊 Hyunjae's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Hyunjae's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 戊申From age 3 (1999) the 戊申 pillar takes over — Earth above, Metal below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
2. 丁未From age 13 (2009) the 丁未 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
3. 丙午From age 23 (2019) the 丙午 pillar takes over — Fire above, Fire below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
4. 乙巳From age 33 (2029) the 乙巳 pillar takes over — Wood above, Fire below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 甲辰From age 43 (2039) the 甲辰 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 癸卯From age 53 (2049) the 癸卯 pillar takes over — Water above, Wood below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 壬寅From age 63 (2059) the 壬寅 pillar takes over — Water above, Wood below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 辛丑From age 73 (2069) the 辛丑 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
