DK's Saju

🌊 DK's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle DK's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 辛丑From age 5 (2001) the 辛丑 pillar takes over — Metal above, Earth below. It doubles his own Metal, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
2. 庚子From age 15 (2011) the 庚子 pillar takes over — Metal above, Water below. It doubles his own Metal, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
3. 己亥From age 25 (2021) the 己亥 pillar takes over — Earth above, Water below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
4. 戊戌From age 35 (2031) the 戊戌 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
5. 丁酉From age 45 (2041) the 丁酉 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 丙申From age 55 (2051) the 丙申 pillar takes over — Fire above, Metal below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 乙未From age 65 (2061) the 乙未 pillar takes over — Wood above, Earth below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 甲午From age 75 (2071) the 甲午 pillar takes over — Wood above, Fire below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
