Lara's Saju

🌊 Lara's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Lara's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 丁亥From age 3 (2007) the 丁亥 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. Fire pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
2. 戊子From age 13 (2017) the 戊子 pillar takes over — Earth above, Water below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
3. 己丑From age 23 (2027) the 己丑 pillar takes over — Earth above, Earth below. Earth and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
4. 庚寅From age 33 (2037) the 庚寅 pillar takes over — Metal above, Wood below. It doubles his own Metal, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
5. 辛卯From age 43 (2047) the 辛卯 pillar takes over — Metal above, Wood below. It doubles his own Metal, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
6. 壬辰From age 53 (2057) the 壬辰 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
7. 癸巳From age 63 (2067) the 癸巳 pillar takes over — Water above, Fire below. Water and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
8. 甲午From age 73 (2077) the 甲午 pillar takes over — Wood above, Fire below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
