Tomoya's Saju

🌊 Tomoya's Great Luck cycle (대운) — the 10-year tides

Saju reads a life in ten-year pillars. Each one re-colors the same chart, which is why the same person reads differently at 23 and at 33. Below is every cycle Tomoya's chart hands them, with the one they are living in now marked.

1. 戊子From age 5 (2010) the 戊子 pillar takes over — Earth above, Water below. It doubles his own Earth, so the decade amplifies what he already is — for better and worse.
2. 丁亥From age 15 (2020) the 丁亥 pillar takes over — Fire above, Water below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him. — now
3. 丙戌From age 25 (2030) the 丙戌 pillar takes over — Fire above, Earth below. Fire and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
4. 乙酉From age 35 (2040) the 乙酉 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
5. 甲申From age 45 (2050) the 甲申 pillar takes over — Wood above, Metal below. Wood pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
6. 癸未From age 55 (2060) the 癸未 pillar takes over — Water above, Earth below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
7. 壬午From age 65 (2070) the 壬午 pillar takes over — Water above, Fire below. Water pushes against his Day Master, so the decade asks for effort rather than handing things over.
8. 辛巳From age 75 (2080) the 辛巳 pillar takes over — Metal above, Fire below. Metal and his Day Master feed each other, so the decade tends to carry him.
